A First Nations flying academy smashes through to heaven via propeller plane. Breaking Into Heaven is the title track of Selve's album, the first full-length Aboriginal album recorded at Abbey Road Studios.


Joshua Tate is a filmmaker and photographer whose creative approach is driven and informed by playfulness, curiosity and fluidity. They are currently in pre-production for their Screen Queensland funded short-form comedy series, It's Giving.

Loki Liddle is a proud Jabirr Jabirr man and Storyteller. His practise includes being the lead singer and songwriter of the Gold Coast based alt-rock band Selve, a written and spoken word poet, a writer and a First Nations arts practitioner with over four years in the sector managing and delivering large-scale arts projects and multi-year programs through his roles at Digi Youth Arts and Blak Social. Breaking Into Heaven is his directorial debut.
