Brixx is an artist from Birmingham with roots spanning both the United States and Jamaica. Born in the United States, she moved to the UK as a young girl. With a mother originally from Birmingham and a father from Jamaica, her music reflects a rich blend of both cultures and influences.

Emerging rapper Brixx first unveiled her debut single, “Man”, introducing listeners to her distinctive sound and compelling story. The Birmingham-based artist has a unique background that has intricately shaped the music she creates today. After years of grafting and tirelessly perfecting her craft, she is now beginning to reap the rewards of her hard work and dedication.

Following the buzz generated by her gritty Blackbox Freestyle, which sparked conversations across the scene, Brixx elevated her momentum with her On Da Radar Freestyle released a month later. Since then, the freestyle has amassed over one hundred thousand views, further establishing her as one of Birmingham’s rising voices.

Brixx’s music is rooted in authenticity, often exploring real-life issues and deeply personal experiences. Raised by Caribbean parents, she spoke Patois before she spoke English, and that influence naturally carries into both her music and everyday conversations. She frequently uses Patois to emphasise her delivery, adding another layer of identity and authenticity to her sound.
