James Regan is CEO of Oriole Networks, a UCL spinout using photonics to accelerate AI and machine learning in a low-carbon world, tackling the data centre bottlenecks that are holding the AI revolution back. Mingtian Zhang founded Vectify AI to build the next generation of RAG systems, with its open-source PageIndex framework rethinking how AI retrieves information entirely. Tom Heenan co-founded Gaussion, applying an external magnetic field to existing battery cells to unlock rapid charging and slash degradation, backed by AlbionVC through the UCL Technology Fund.
