Amelia Brown has been a driving force in television for over two decades, beginning her career as a runner on genre defining Pop Idol. Since those early days, she has worked on some of the UK’s most iconic entertainment shows including The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, The Weakest Link, Big Brother and Geordie Shore.

In 2013, Amelia joined Fremantle label Thames, where her visionary approach and creative leadership earned her a reputation as a BAFTA and multi-award-winning showrunner. In 2017, she became Managing Director of the label, overseeing a diverse slate of hit productions such as BGT, Too Hot to Handle, I Can See Your Voice, and MAMMA MIA: I Have a Dream.

By 2023, Amelia’s talent and direction propelled her to the role of CEO of Fremantle UK. In this position, she leads the corporate strategy of one of the UK’s most dynamic production powerhouses, manages the output of all Fremantle UK labels and plays a vital role on the Fremantle Global Leadership Team – all testament to her dedication and ability to shape the future of television entertainment.
