Jackie Jones is an executive at the Gates Foundation in the Gender Equality division based in our London office. She leads the strategy and execution of the women’s leadership and adolescent and youth investment portfolios. She oversees efforts to increase women’s leadership representation in sectors that improve health and development outcomes in the foundation’s priority geographies. She also leads the learning agenda to understand how trusted community leaders and media and entertainment support normative change to advance lives and livelihood outcomes.
Prior to her current role, Jackie was a lead architect for the Gender Equality division and served as the division’s first Chief of Staff, leading the division’s strategy and operations and serving as a trusted advisor to the division’s President.
Previously, Jackie was an executive at Accenture, the global management consulting firm, with expertise in innovation growth strategy, organizational effectiveness, and social impact. Jackie has worked in 20 countries across the globe and has lived in Ghana, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, United Kingdom, and the United States.
Jackie has undergraduate degrees in art history and business from the University of San Diego and MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School.
