Dr Jeremy Silver is the interim CEO of the British Library. He is an Honorary Professor in the Computer Science Department at UCL. He is a non-executive director of ACM Metropolis Studios and a Trustee of Studio Wayne McGregor.
He was previously CEO of Digital Catapult, Chair of Figaro.AI, Executive Chairman of Semetric, CEO of the Featured Artists Coalition and strategic advisor to Shazam. He was CEO of Sibelius Software and Vice-President of New Media for the EMI Music Group in Los Angeles.
His PhD in English Literature is from the University of London. His book, Towards a Digital Renaissance, explores the relationship between investors, founders, technology and creativity.
