Katie Carroll is the director of editorial and product strategy at LinkedIn, working at the intersection of editorial expertise, creator strategy and product thinking. In the 13+ years she's been at LinkedIn, she's had her hand in everything from news coverage to content product development to creator management. Before LinkedIn, she was editorial and social media director at news-reading app Pulse (acquired by LinkedIn in 2013) and iPhone photography pioneer Hipstamatic. Originally from California, Katie has been based in London since 2015, endorsed by Tech Nation for the UK's Global Talent visa, and holds a double major in Rhetoric and Political Science from UC Berkeley.
