Natalie Dormer

Ambassador, Actor, Producer and Writer

Actor, producer and writer NatalieDormer has been an advocate for children and their safety for over a decade. In 2019 she was announced as NSPCC Ambassador for CHILDLINE, the UK’s 24/7 anonymous counselling service for children under 19, and is currently producing an audio doc to celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. Additional work with the NSPCC includes narrating the audio book and video for ‘Pantosaurus and the Power of PANTS’, the NSPCC’s illustrated kids’ book to teach young children about age-appropriate body consent in the fight against Child Sexual Abuse (CSA); Dormer is an official ‘Champion’ of the NSPCC Child Safety Online Taskforce that ensured the passing of the Online Safety Act (2023) and continues to push for that act to be effective. She also promoted the fun, engaging resources the NSPCC provide for Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) in schools by hosting a podcast in 2024, and continues to advocate their brilliant ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe’ primary school programme so children learn to recognise abuse and get help.

Most recently, Dormer partnered with the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) - the UK body responsible for taking down hundreds of thousands of online images of CSA each year. The campaign ‘Think Before You Share’ is aimed at teens, parents and educators to provide guidance against the pressures of sharing nudes and sexual imagery. The campaign also aims to spread awareness of the vital REPORT REMOVE tool, a CHILDLINE/ IWF collaboration for minors to confidentially report and remove content of themselves on the internet.

In addition to her advocacy, Dormer has built an accomplished career across film, stage and television, with credits including “Game of Thrones”, “The Hunger Games”, “The Tudors”, and “The Wasp”. She most recently starred in Ami Canaan Mann’s “Audrey’s Children”, which won the Feature Film prize out of Tribeca X in 2024, and will next have a leading role in the upcoming Netflix series “Mercenary: An Extraction Series”, from the Russo Brothers’ AGBO.
