Sten Tamkivi

Sten is a partner at Plural, the early-stage venture capital fund that backs the most ambitious founders on a mission to change the world through technology. He's led early investments in a range of frontier tech, robotics, defence and AI companies, including Monumental, IXI and Labrys. Prior to Plural, he co-founded Teleport (acquired by Topia in 2017) as an EIR at Andreessen Horowitz, after serving at Skype as an early executive for over eight years from startup to $8.5B exit to Microsoft. Sten started his entrepreneurial career at 18 founding the first digital media agency in Estonia. He values a tolerant, open and creative society. Sten is an advocate for entrepreneurship and better tech education, and has advised President Ilves of Estonia on both.
