TaalHaus brings together four dynamic artists from the UK South Asian music scene for a unique showcase. Blending Indian classical, folk, sufi, ghazal and contemporary sounds, the ensemble features internationally renowned multi-instrumentalist Sahib G, versatile percussionist and producer Shri Gadhvi, vocalist and harmonium player Nirmal Joshi, and powerhouse singer Kesh K. Together, TaalHaus delivers an immersive live experience rooted in tradition while pushing modern musical boundaries through rhythm, melody and improvisation.

SAHIB G
‘Sahib-G’ is a prominent figure in the British Indian music scene, renowned as a versatile musician, excelling in genres such as Bhangra, Bollywood, Ghazals, Bhajans, and Hindi-Pop. His musical journey began in 1982 as the youngest member of the acclaimed band Heera. Over the years, his artistry evolved through inspiration drawn from Carlos Santana, leading him to establish his own recording studio in Southall. He later released his debut solo album Manuscript and went on to produce music for internationally celebrated artists including Kumar Sanu, Jasbir Jassi, and many others.
Highly regarded as a composer, mandolinist, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist, Sahib-G has toured extensively across the globe alongside legendary performers such as Jagjit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bappi Lahiri, Jaspinder Narula, Shaan, and many more. His versatility and musicianship recently led to him being invited as a session musician to perform Rabab on the latest Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse project.
His work also extends into theatre and musical development, with notable projects including Rifco’s Britain’s Got Bhangra, the RSC’s Much Ado About Nothing, Kuljit Bhamra’s Chutney in the Street, and music development work for the hit stage musical Bend It Like Beckham. Currently, Sahib-G serves as the Musical Director and initiator of the upcoming Ghazal Lounge UK project, continuing his commitment to celebrating and evolving South Asian music on an international platform.
SHRI GADHVI
A natural understanding of structures, beats, rhythm and melodies is what sets the basis of a good musician. Performed worldwide and produced various genres and for many artists. Shri Gadhvi has mastered all these aspects and has now set the par for many musicians/producers with the unique and diverse style that he brings to the music scene.
Shri’s background and family history has encouraged him to take steps into his ancestral customs leading him down the musical path.
Born in North London, Shri’s admiration for musical rhythms sprung at an early age of 2 naturally, when his inquisition led him to play the TABLA. He was learning from The late Shri “Pandit Sharda Sharda” at the age of 5. His skill for this instrument has not gone without merit and has been constantly acknowledged and admired for his expertise. At the age of 7 he also picked up another instrument called the DHOL and began to do performances around the UK.
From the age of 16, Shri has been travelling the world with concerts and performances in France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, India, Dubai, Thailand, Bali + many more. Shri has also performed at many prestigious and well known venues such as The Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, Berklee College of Music, the Commonwealth Games, BBC broadcasting house, The Troxy and many more.
Along with performing in some profound places around the world, he has also accompanied some great artists such as Anup Jalota, Ashit & Hema Desai, Pritam Chakrabarty, Harshdeep Kaur, Shankar Mahadevan, Kavita Krishnamurty, Talat Aziz, Richa Sharma, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Anuradha Paudwal, Sadhana Sargam, Sonu Nigam, Radhika Chopra, Jazim Sharma and majority of the Indian Idol show winners.
Shri has made a name for himself in the world as a remarkable and gifted producer/percussionist and has been passing down his knowledge to music students since 2013 when he launched London School of Tabla. It is without a doubt we can expect unique and vibrant compilations from this upcoming talent.
NIRMAL JOSHI
Nirmal Joshi started his training at the age of 6 with Shri Chandravadan Engineer. Having received classical training for several years, he learned tabla from Puish Kumarji of Benaras Gharana. He has also received formal training from Pt Ramesh Jhule of Kirana Gharana. Nirmal is also a qualified teacher, with a PGCE from the renowned UCL institute of education.
Nirmal has been performing since the age of 10. He has performed at many prestigious venues such as the Dorchester Hotel, the Royal Albert Hall, the Nehru Centre, and has made several TV appearances. He has also performed internationally on a number of occasions.
Nirmal is highly skilled in singing and performing many different genres of music including ghazal, sufi, bhajan, folk, jazz and classical. With his guidance and teachings, you will excel in the world of Sangeet.
KESH K
A world class vocalist from Bedford UK. Worked with the legendary Sachin Ahuja for Kesh’s second ever release and has worked with so many great artists and musicians and has also started “KBH Academy” teaching Indian classical instruments and vocal.
