Helen Kruger Bratt

As Managing Director of UTAS UK Productions, the UK arm of global unscripted powerhouse Universal Television Alternative Studio (UTAS), Helen Kruger Bratt leads one of the UK’s most prolific and respected unscripted production companies, overseeing large-scale entertainment, premium reality and live television.

She oversees the UK production team behind one of the most ambitious comedy launches in recent years, the first British adaptation of NBC’s iconic late-night institution, “Saturday Night Live”, marking the first time the legendary format has been produced for British audiences.

The series represents a landmark moment for UK comedy and a major international expansion of one of television’s most influential formats, bringing together leading comedy and production talent to deliver a live show designed to capture the scale, spontaneity, and cultural impact of the original.

Alongside “SNL UK”, Helen oversees enduring entertainment franchises that have helped shape the UK reality landscape. UTAS UK Productions produces the BAFTA-winning “Made in Chelsea”, now entering its 31st season for E4, as well as “The Real Housewives of Cheshire”, returning for its 19th season on ITV2 this spring.

The company is also expanding the global Housewives franchise with “The Real Housewives of London”, which delivered Hayu’s most-watched Season 1 premiere last year. UTAS UK Productions is extending the “Made in Chelsea” universe with “Beyond Chelsea” and the upcoming “Made in Chelsea: Sam Vanderpump’s Story” documentary for E4, alongside premium event specials including “Defying Gravity: The Curtain Rises on Wicked” and “Downton Abbey Celebrates the Grand Finale”, supporting NBCUniversal’s theatrical releases.
