Giorgio Vitale is a curator and technologist based in Berlin. In 2017, he founded synthesis, a cultural organisation engaged with digital art, producing over 25 exhibitions of new media art in Berlin and abroad. Notable curated exhibitions include AFTERLIFE at HAU Hebbel am Ufer, MATERIAL POETRY at HEK Basel, and I KNOW at Feral File/synthesis gallery. He has spoken at international art forums and mentored at NEW INC, SXSW and arebyte Gallery. He is a member of the International Selectors Committee at Lumen Prize. Speak with him about taking a project from concept to exhibition, collaborating with institutions, building visibility for digital art practices, and producing exhibitions across different formats and contexts.

Information for mentees:

- In order to book a session with one of our mentors, please download the SXSW London app.

- Please arrive 5 minutes early to check in for your mentor session. Late arrivals (anyone not present at the start of their booked session) may lose their slot to a walk-up attendee.

- If a session is fully booked, you’re welcome to try as a walk-up in case a booked attendee doesn’t attend.

- We would recommend preparing a brief introduction about yourself, along with any specific questions or areas you’d like guidance on from your mentor.
