(RSVP Needed) Music Groupchat: Songs as Assets - How Writers Build Wealth, Rights and Longevity

Inside the Catalogue: how songs become assets and writers build sustainable careers. Three publishing professionals explain how deals get made, how sync placements happen, and what separates a good song from a valuable one. This is not a listening session - it's about understanding the business behind the songwriting craft. You will spend 20 minutes with each speaker in small groups.

Practical questions to ask include:

- What makes a song attractive to a publisher?

- How do sync placements actually happen, and who makes those decisions?

- What should writers know about splits, co-writes, and protecting their work?

Information for attendees:

-  Book a group chat session via the RSVP function on our app.

- Please arrive 5 minutes early to check in for your group chat session. Late arrivals (anyone not present at the start of their booked session) may lose their slot to a walk-up attendee.

- If a session is fully booked, you’re welcome to try as a walk-up in case a booked attendee doesn’t attend.
