In Contagion we predicted the pandemic 10 years before it happened. Even earlier, in 1999, a high level defense think tank convened plant, animal and computer virus hunters to discuss threats and solutions common to their systems. How can our experience with infectious diseases inform the way we think about the viral spread of misinformation? What’s next and how do we contain it?
