Alice Levine is an award winning presenter with a wealth of experience across live television, radio and podcasts, spanning comedy, entertainment and documentaries. On radio, Alice is best known for her near decade at BBC Radio 1, starting on the coveted new music slot and later moving to weekend afternoons for which she won the Music Week Best Radio Show Award. Her warmth and wit have made her a mainstay on comedy favourites including Qi, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Would I Lie To You, Room 101, Travel Man and of course Taskmaster.
In the documentary space, Alice presented the critically-acclaimed Sleeping with the Far Right. Having seen her skills in action, Louis Theroux took Alice under his wing, exec-producing two series of “Sex Actually with Alice Levine” (Channel 4) which delved into British and American sex and relationship subcultures.
Alice has made an even bigger splash in podcasting. My Dad Wrote a Porno, Britain’s biggest comedy podcast, has been described as ‘a cultural phenomenon’ (The Sunday Times). It has amassed over 500 million downloads, spawned two sell-out world tours (including Sydney Opera House and Royal Albert Hall), an HBO comedy special and Hollywood fans. 10 years since its first episode dropped, Time Magazine has just cited it as one of the most influential podcasts of all time.
You can currently hear her co-hosting award-winning comedy-history hybrid, British Scandal. And her always-on comedy podcast, Bad Chat, with Greg James, releases new episodes every Thursday. Now adding founder to her CV, Alice co-created the Crossed Wires Podcast Festival in 2023, which is the biggest event of its kind.
