Alison Kay was appointed as the VP & Managing Director, AWS UK and Ireland in November 2024. Since joining, Alison has brought her wealth of business transformation and strategy experience, partnering with organisations of all sizes – from start-ups, through to the UK and Ireland’s largest enterprises – to accelerate their customer-centric digital business transformation and help them realise new forms of customer value, leveraging AWS cloud. Alison joined AWS from EY where she held a number of roles including EMEIA Managing Partner and Global Vice Chair of Industry. Alison started her career in the Utilities industry as a graduate at United Utilities and has an MBA from Manchester Business School. She is also a Non-Executive Director at Lloyd’s Register Group Limited and Executive Chairman for Birmingham Panthers Netball.
