Ankur Patel is a senior executive in the music technology industry having spent his career scaling companies through acquisitions and strategic partnerships. He currently serves as GM of Spitfire Audio – a leading developer of high-end virtual instruments used by film and TV composers across Hollywood – where he is responsible for guiding the company’s strategic vision and growth within the global music creation ecosystem. He also serves as Vice President of Corporate Development at the music making platform Splice, where he has led a dozen acquisitions across music catalogs and technology, expanding the company’s impact on music creation.
Ankur’s leadership journey also includes his tenure as Chief Business Officer at Venice Music, where he led commercial strategy and partnerships to support independent artists and innovative music distribution models managing the release and development of albums for artists including Amine, Kaytranada, DJ Spinall, Thuy, Elley Duhé, and Brent Faiyaz.
He has worked across live entertainment and label services with companies like Sofar Sounds and Human Re Sources (Sony Music), through his music consulting firm and he continues to find a deep fulfillment in advising founders and artists on how to grow their business and brand.
