Bob Bowen is an Emmy-nominated global entertainment executive and creative leader recognized
for overseeing music strategy and production across some of the industry’s most influential film,
television, streaming, and sports productions. As Worldwide Head of Music for Amazon MGM
Studios, he oversees global music operations spanning North America, Europe, Latin America,
India, Japan, and Australia, leading music production for more than 180 original series and films
annually.
Bowen has worked extensively across major international productions, collaborating with awardwinning
filmmakers, composers, studios, orchestras, labels, and creative partners around the
world. Known for combining creative leadership with operational and business strategy, he has
helped shape modern music strategy across film, television, and streaming while building largescale
international music operations and soundtrack initiatives.
Throughout his career, Bowen has overseen music production on more than 90 feature films
generating over $5 billion in worldwide box office revenue, including acclaimed projects such
as Project Hail Mary, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Boys, Reacher, Red One,
Fallout, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Air, Saltburn, Manchester by the Sea, Jack Ryan, and Daisy
Jones & The Six.
Prior to Amazon MGM Studios, Bowen served as President of Music at Relativity Media and held
multiple senior executive roles at New Line Cinema. He earned his MBA with Academic Distinction
from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and is a member of the Academy of Motion
Picture Arts and Sciences, the Television Academy, and the Recording Academy.
