Uygur launched The Young Turks as Sirius Satellite Radio’s first original talk show in 2002 and uploaded their first video on YouTube in 2005. Since then, The Young Turks has become the longest-running daily online stream and has consistently been the leading news and politics show for young, progressive viewers.

Uygur was the host of The Young Turks on Current TV, which was the most popular show on the channel’s two-year run. Prior to Current TV, Uygur was the host of MSNBC
