Dr Shama Rahman is a neuroscientist and AI researcher building state-aware, human-centred systems that link brain/physiological data to real-world workflows. An Innovation Fellow at the University of Edinburgh (Design Informatics/Edinburgh Futures Institute), she holds a PhD on the neuroscience and complex-systems dynamics of creativity and Flow. She leads cross-sector R&D on wearable neurotechnology, immersive participatory systems and AI-enabled innovation workflows, and founded a cognitive-AI neurotech startup, NeuroCreate. Her work examines decolonising AI and whose data and narratives shape models, including the artistic perspective.
