Harry Dobbs Design

Harry Dobbs, MA MA ARB RIBA RIAI, is the founder of Harry Dobbs Design, an internationally awarded creative office based in London focused on the strategy and design of place, provenance, and destination.

By integrating urban design, architecture, and product design, the practice collaborates with locations, clients, and communities to develop distinctive identities and material cultures across cities, built environments, and public artifacts.

The studio has developed a unique approach to culturally intelligent urbanism by integrating advanced technology with cultural practices. Working across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North America, projects range from national and regional design frameworks to urban master plans, UNESCO World Heritage sites, transport interchanges, city districts, and destination developments.

As a consultant, Harry has structured design briefs, advised on design team selection, and managed international design competitions for major global projects, including the London 2012 Olympic Village. He has also advised the UK Prime Minister’s Office and international governments on contemporary urban design issues.

His work has been exhibited in institutions worldwide, including the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York, the British Museum, and the Red Dot Design Museums in Europe and Asia.
