Dr. Jenny Cane FIMechE is a Senior Lead Engineer at Proxima Fusion, Europe's fastest-growing fusion energy company, where she leads the engineering design of Alpha — the company's stellarator targeted to demonstrate net energy gain from fusion reactions in the early 2030s.
Jenny brings deep fusion engineering experience to Proxima. She spent 11 years at the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), translating fusion science into engineering reality, including lead engineer roles on the JET tokamak and six years leading the in-vessel systems team for STEP, the UK's prototype fusion power plant programme.
