Kai Hockley is a 20-year-old from Tottenham, London, and a member of the Athena Pathway Youth Squad. He was introduced to sailing at The Greig City Academy in 2017, aged 11. Kai joined Emirates GBR in January 2024 as an intern, and Sir Ben Ainslie offered him a role as a Development Sailor within Athena Sports Group.
