A long-standing presenter of the BBC’s flagship technology programme Click, she has reported on breakthrough innovations around the world and fronted major programmes including Panorama: Beyond Human: Artificial Intelligence and Us, ITV’s Tonight and BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour. Her book, Hacking Humanity, explores the AI-driven revolution in health, from personalised prevention and treatment to extending healthy lifespans. Passionate about making complex technology accessible, Lara is also known as ITV Lorraine’s “AI Agony Aunt” and is regularly called upon to discuss the practical, ethical and human implications of artificial intelligence.
