MD S. Rana is a senior GS-14/15 U.S. federal AI and cybersecurity leader, computer scientist, and engineer serving in DoD/U.S. Space Force/Space Systems Command as Director of an AI Accelerator and Human-AI Teaming Lab and former Acting Chief Data and AI Officer. A U.S. Air Force Reserve Captain, cyber warfare officer, and former merchant marine officer from Bangladesh Marine Academy, he advances AI, cyber, and strategic innovation. He is an incoming Harvard Kennedy School Mid-Career MPA student and prestigious, highly selective American Service Fellow.
