Chef Nur-E Gulshan Rahman and her daughter Nur-E Farhana Rahman are the mother-daughter duo behind Korai Kitchen, a homestyle Bangladeshi restaurant located in Jersey City, New Jersey. In 2024, Chef Nur-E Gulshan was nominated for a James Beard Award, and in 2025, Korai Kitchen became the first Bangladeshi restaurant to receive three stars from The New York Times. The pair are currently working on their debut cookbook, to be published by Abrams Books in spring 2028.
