After leaving the Daily Mirror, he pivoted into a career in television gaining prominence as a judge on the reality television show Britain's Got Talent and its American counterpart, America's Got Talent. In 2011, Piers took over from Larry King as the host of the prime-time interview show Piers Morgan Live on CNN.
