Sally Davies

Managing Director

Abbey Road

Sally Davies is the Managing Director of Abbey Road, a British cultural institution that includes the iconic Abbey Road Studios, music technology innovators Audiomovers, Abbey Road REDD and a diverse range audio products both hardware and software, plus learning initiatives like Abbey Road Institute, Amplify and Equalise.

The business today is broad and evolving. In just over two years Sally has driven forward Abbey Road’s legacy of innovation through the groundbreaking new Abbey Road Studios Mode in-car audio system, the pioneering remote collaboration tool Audiomovers, Europe’s first music tech incubator Abbey Road REDD and the first studio beyond their walls - the adidas Originals Recording Studio, engineered by Abbey Road in Manchester’s Co-Op Live Arena.

With an emphasis on creativity, she has overseen the recent restoration of the legendary Studio One, cementing Abbey Road’s place as the home of film scoring in the UK, as well as forays into wider creativity with the Abbey Road Music Photography Awards, a first fashion collaboration with Charles Jeffrey Loverboy, a boundary-pushing collision of dance and music with Synergy In Motion, the Abbey Road Studio Four concept at SXSW London 2025 and the studios' first ever rave, in collaboration with electronic pioneers Soulwax.

The next generation of producers, engineers, composers and artists remain a key focus for Sally through the expansion of their international school Abbey Road Institute, the launch of a global runners program, and diversity and learning programs Equalise and Amplify which deliver music industry access for emerging talent and underrepresented groups.

In January 2026, Sally was appointed the AI Champion for the creative industries by the UK’s Department of Culture, Media and Sport - a role in which she will help accelerate the responsible adoption of AI and ensure the UK harnesses AI’s potential for economic growth and job creation.
