Sarah Parsonage is the founder of One Question, an advisory organisation that helps leaders and organisations solve complex challenges by asking better questions to find many answers.
Since 2016, Sarah has built One Question around the belief that the biggest risks facing organisations are often not a lack of answers but the solving of the wrong problem. Her work focuses on helping leaders think more clearly about uncertainty, trust, leadership, AI, and systemic change by bringing together perspectives across business, policy, technology, and culture.
Each year, One Question develops a defining question to explore with its global community. Recent questions have included How Do We Lead Through Uncertainty? If AI is the answer, what question are we asking?" And this year's question, "Is curiosity our greatest power?" Bringing together leaders from organisations including Nike, The World Bank, the NHS, The White House and leading universities, alongside economists, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers and creatives.
Sarah’s work focuses on helping organisations navigate complexity through collective intelligence, cross-sector dialogue, and strategic questioning. Her skill lies in joining dots across industries, markets and disciplines, distilling our biggest challenges into a single question that opens up new ways of thinking and reveals the common threads shaping business, policy and society. Alongside One Question, she hosts the podcast, writes weekly on Substack, and has a passion for Italy.
