Calum is a former Senior Power Unit Assembly Technician who spent ten seasons with Oracle Red Bull Racing, contributing to two World Constructors’ Championships and seven consecutive DHL Fastest Pit Stop Awards as part of the Team’s pit crew.
He spent a total of 15 years as a mechanic in Formula One, beginning his career at Marussia before moving to Oracle Red Bull Racing. His role involved the meticulous build and servicing of race and test engines, and on race days he was a vital member of the pit stop crew, operating the rear-right wheel gun.
Calum’s journey from college to the world stage of motorsport gives him unique insight into Oracle Red Bull Racing’s high-performance culture, teamwork, and mindset—key factors behind the Team’s sustained success at the top of the sport.
After stepping back from the F1 paddock, Calum published his autobiography, Life In The Pitlane, and has continued his work as a vocal champion of diversity, inclusion, and STEM education in motorsport.
