Head Coach
London Bees (Barnet FC)
Dan’s coaching career began in 2013 when he joined the University of Birmingham Women’s Football Club where he worked under Jenny Sugarman (Head of Academy at Leicester City Women) and Gemma Davies (England Women’s U23 Assistant Head Coach). In 2016 Dan joined Southern Premier Division side Coventry United (now Rugby Borough) as their Reserve Team Manager, before moving to Women’s National League Division One side, Leyton Orient Women’s Football Club, as a first team coach at the start of 2020. Following Leyton Orient withdrawing their support of the team in 2021, the club re-branded as London Seaward for the 2021/22 season and Dan was subsequently appointed First Team Manager in October 2021. After successfully keeping the club in the division in their first season, he went on to establish the independently-financed Seaward as a stable mid-table club over the following two seasons, despite operating on a fraction of the resources (financially and infrastructure wise) of the other teams in the division. After 82 competitive games in charge, Dan left London Seaward at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, and in June 2024 he joined London Bees as their Head Coach. A successful season as part of a re-building project sees London Bees currently occupying fourth place in the WNL Division One South East (as of the start of April), having also reached the fourth round of the Women's FA Cup.
