Emma is a Mental Health Policy and Advocacy Specialist at UNICEF Headquarters, where she leads global advocacy efforts to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people. She has over thirteen years' experience across the UN, government and international development. Her work includes shaping UNICEF's engagement in major global and UN policy processes, providing technical support to UNICEF country and regional offices to drive national policy change, and advocating for financing commitments and expanded access to mental health care, including in humanitarian and conflict-affected contexts. Alongside her global role, Emma is completing an MSc in Psychology at UCL and works as an Assistant Psychologist in a children's health service in London, bringing together perspectives from policy, research and clinical practice. Emma has extensive experience at speaking events such as this.
