Louise Laing is a fashion entrepreneur and deep-tech founder rebuilding how fashion is created, owned and distributed across physical and digital environments.
She was CEO of London fashion brand Shrimps and has scaled businesses across her career, previously holding senior leadership roles at Burberry, Reiss and Kilgour, restructuring supply chains, driving multi-million-pound cost savings, and leading global teams across one of the most demanding industries in the world.
Across more than two decades in fashion she kept hitting the same wall: legacy infrastructure, endless waste, and an industry recreating the same garment at every stage with no way to connect any of it. So she stopped waiting and built the infrastructure herself.
She is the Founder and CEO of Alvalan, the gaming IP distribution layer for fashion, built in the UK over 2.5 years on proprietary AI. She previously founded PhygitalTwin, which pioneered the underlying digital-to-physical pipeline.
Louise also founded RecodeHer, championing girls into technology because the people shaping the future of fashion and tech should look like the people who use it.
She authored the UK Government's Digital, Data and Technology white paper, is part of the Innovate UK SXSW delegation, and holds Entrepreneur UK 100 recognition.
Speaker: Davos, SXSW, LEAP, House of Lords. Based in London.
