Dr Miguel Gonzalez Canudas is Chief AI Officer and co-founder of PentaBind, where he leads the company’s AI development and wet-lab integration for aptamer discovery and optimisation pipelines. With more than a decade of experience in computational science and artificial intelligence, he specialises in applying machine learning to accelerate drug discovery and precision therapeutics.
He holds a PhD in Complex Systems Simulation from the University of Southampton and has a background in evolutionary systems modelling, data science, and AI-driven biological design. Before co-founding PentaBind, Miguel worked as a senior data scientist in industry, bringing expertise in computational modelling, generative AI, and biotech innovation to the development of the company’s platform.
